Get into tennis Australia

Well, the Australian Tennis Open is well and truly over. The dreams and aspirations of those of you who will be our next Grand Slam players (achievers) live on. What a great event this is.

Hello tennis enthusiasts, players, coaches, administrators. How are we on this rainy Saturday? As most of us know, the season of summer is coming to an end. Which is a time to encourage, strengthen and train us to a bigger and better future in tennis. To compete amongst the best, that would be pretty remarkable.

Here is a note on more of the mental side of tennis. More so on the changing attitude of loosing. Not a great topic, but one than I will address.

We get polished, in other words we get an arse kicking. Better to know our opposition was not kidding around, or feeling sorry for us and giving us a gamed or two just to be kind, don’t do it people. Do not feel sorry for those that are getting pummeled, this will only encourage them into a false sense of reality. Is this correct I think not?

Anywise a word of advice to you, the loser that is. See through to the other side, do not focus on that lose. Move on people. Let go of it.

Expression, that’s what we do on the tennis court, express ourselves. Enough of pondering on the last issue. The catching of breaths between points. That stretched out backhand slice that lobs the opposition and lands in the opposite corner. The frustration of why we just missed that sitter. The heat of the moment, your serve was called out, even though it did just clip the line. Called out. Karma does in fact go your way and the opposition misses an easy forehand into the net.

These are just some of the aspects of tennis that include our physical strength and mental stamina. Well that just about ends another article on some of my impressions of tennis. If any of you out there have any thoughts you wish to share, be free.

Womens Doubles Australian tennis Open Winners

Congratulations to the 12th Seeded pairing of Zi Yan and Jie Zheng. In a tight three set match against the favorite pairing of Samantha Stosur of Australia Lisa Raymond of the U.S.A they came through trumps 2/6,7/6(9,7),6/3. I believe this is a great achievement not just for these two, but for China. This is of coarse China’s first ever Grand Slam win.

I was lucky enough to catch these two in action in their third round match win over Russian Elen Domentieva and Italian Flavia Pennetta, 6/1,6/2 on show court 2. They showed great team work and determination.

Please forgive me if I have spelled your names wrong.

Well Done you two. From Sweat Tennis.

Do these thoughts and ideas on tennis help you with your game

Article #1 Sweat Tennis

Many of us that are involved with tennis do, have or are experiencing inspiration in some way or another. It is this inspiration that guilds us on our journey. Learning and remembering that inspiration is only a very small part of what we want to achieve.

For example: We get ourselves some tickets to the Ozzie Open. We watch a match and we see this amazing point where a cross court backhand top spin winner is hit from the back of the court on the run and dropped in front of and across the approaching opposition. Yes I can make this my reality, surely. I can go out there and play this amazing shot.

Now for this inspiring play to enter your head in the first place shows some form of love for the game. A game that us as human beings, can infact enjoy and progress with the right training. This factor is of coarse perspiration, incurred by hard work. (Sweat Tennis) Spending more time on the court, and having assisted guidance by a knowledgeable tennis player/coach.

Part of my philosophy as a coach is to inform people that are new to the game of tennis about what to do in order to improve the game. Now for all of readers out there, this is very valuable information that I am giving to you. The more we travel inside the world tennis the more we can understand what to do to better our games. As a coach this is at the forefront, because if I’m not trying to improve, how is it that you the player/coach can improve.

Reaching some goals such as bringing a group of like minded people together can be achieved. Because through doing this ideas and thoughts can be put together as to help fuel the enjoyment of tennis.

What to avoid when playing or preparing to play tennis.

You would be surprised how easy it is not wear the right attire and how it actually affects your game. I think through giving you, or passing on first hand information from my own experiences maybe be helpfull to you.

What it takes for me to play tennis. Sheer determination, a will to want to be the best I can be, which is giving off a good image and attitude, lossing gracefully and enjoying the wins. That’s about that I think.

Court etiquette (noun, the rules and conventions governing correct or pollite behaviour in soceity in general or in a particular social or professional group or situaltion#Etiquette dictates that wedding invitations should be acknowledged in writting. Originated in the Mid 18th Century. From French,’ticket’, also’ etiquette’(probably from the custom of giving rules for behaviour either on a soldiers lodging ticket or on cards given out at court).)

Anyways, back to what to avoid. Bad shoes. I procceeded to pack my tennis bag. Rackets, clothes, balls, water. Ahah, I forgot the most important item (shoes). Really how I managed to this I do not know, but I did. This was not realised until off the train and arriving at the tennis club. Chucked on the clothes, but had to play in my street converse shoes(black), unbeleivably uncomfortable, especially after working in them all day. The laws had to be changed temporarily to allow me to play, it was just a social night. All the same, not a good look people. Got it. Allright.

How this might manage to help you I also do not know, just take some of this knowledge and remember your shoes.
